Emory Atkins wrote most of these songs. They were recorded by Emory, Ronny Ricks, and Larry Hardgrave at Rosewood Studio in Tyler, Texas in 1986. Some would be re-recorded in the winter of 1991 in Nashville at Englewood Records in the United Artists Tower and included on the Lost Recordings album with John Hodge singing lead vocals. Ronny and Larry sang lead on the PARADISE REVISTED EP.

PARADISE - One of the best worship songs of 1986.
Paradise broke up in 1992. The final masters of their album they spent six months recording was lost for over 30 years. These are copies of those amazing songs that were rediscovered in an old building.
The songs were mastered digitally but the DAT copy was lost forever. These reproductions were transferred from an old analog tape to digital.
The Mercy River Boys became one of the first gospel bands to market themselves to a secular country audience combining a moral message with a contemporary country sound. They performed with some of the top acts in country music and released two albums that topped the charts with hits across the United States. They were nominated for two Grammy Awards and became a finalist for the honor in 1980. The original members of the band were inducted into the Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame on November 15, 2015. The final band consisted of Emory Atkins, Danny Hollis, Chuck Long and Ronny Ricks. Their final concert was in Oklahoma City in 1984.
The original MRB Greatest Hits have been released in this album (available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and YouTube music).
